Back in the year 2000 my dad used to work for #Honda. When he got back from a trip to Japan post a #TQM (Total Quality management) training, he would ask us to do a lot of new things which sounded very fascinating. Weekend tasks included #5S (Place for everything and everything at its place) at home, while he would open his briefcase , clean up documents (tear some and keep some, add tags to his bag) my sister and I would do our bit around the house.
We also heard him talk about the feedback mechanism called Plan, Do, Check , Act #PDCA, which he in Simplest of words explained us in terms of our schooling system where the schools #Planned the curriculum, we #did the learning, the exam was the #Check part and based on the marks that we got we knew what to #Act on to get better.
#NPS Net Promoter Score is one methodology that is used by many companies to map out how well their products are doing with their current customers and get their feedback. This NPS score opens the door to more conversations with customers and updating the #productroadmap based on the feedback.
What were some similar principles that you learnt while growing up and had a #aha moment much later in your life!
